The desire to organize a convivial gathering (convivio) leads the poet to reflect that without the baker's craft it would be impossible to present to those assembled a food worthy of the occasion. (Convivio, I, I, 40)

We are not so impudent as to compare ourselves with the "Supreme Poet" [Dante Alighieri]. The desire instead is to follow in his traces in a way that is more fitting for us. And how better do so, if not by accompanying the excellent wines of Italy with the culture and traditions that distinguish our products in the world?

Convivium, from the Latin, expresses a wish to see one another together in these pages, confronting one another in order to know and to be better known.

We offer the world views of our vineyards, memories of our history and odorous bouquets of our wines.

We combine with exports of the wines knowledge of minimum aspects of our working life and of our land in order to assure greater appreciation of our efforts and their quality. We explain how the products originate and where, what their characteristics are and who produces them. We and our estate, a "creature" that is born and grows with us, that stimulates us and enlivens us. Like Dante, we provide the finished product and the instruments with which to learn how it is born, how it grows, what wine is and how it is created.
